well, considering I was a witness , a mormon, an adventist, joined the ashtar command, the orion command, amway, church universal and triumphant plus the elonias foundation and the lodge of 13 I guess I might as well join your group next once I quit fellowshipping with the zamelin group and dump the Boston church of Christ

How Do You Handle Hypocrisy?
by GinnyTosken inhow do you handle hypocrisy?
appears in the november 15, 2001 watchtower.
the article intrigues me because instead of a clear-cut condemnation of hypocrisy, the article wavers back and forth.. first, the writer defines hypocrisy:.

ginny, some meat in due season at last!
I love talkin about this stuff,it sort of reminds me of Goebbels who said that if you condemn someone for doin a thing noone will believe that you could poossibly be doin it yourself. -

"The Mystery of Ill Health"
by LDH in* http://www.watchtower.org/library/w/1999/9/1/article_01.htm.
kind of hypocritical for them to make fun of people's medical superstitions when only 50 years ago they were telling people that cooking in aluminum causes cancer, and that immunizations were actually nothing but pus injections, no?.

based upon extensive experience I can make a guess and a prediction on this one.
First the guess, this person will walk away from it when they are ready. Did you say you were sending them controversial material?
DONT.IT will poison them against YOU.
The prediction, You have sown, you will reap, it may be a year, two or five, but you will reap.Promise. Your chance WILL come. Thats a REAL prediction. -

I care!
Peoples pulpit was an old publishing arm of the org about a thousand years ago.Its significance in WT lore today is that it was NOT the Watchtower.THe WT, being Gods channel of truth, has to be kept clean from accusation of false prophecy and, sometimes the Peoples Pulpit is blamed for past errors. The pulpit org is hardly mentioned except in connection with a book called "The Finished Mystery", 1917, undoubtedly one of the most outrageous books ever concieved, but then Rutherford wasnt a charismatic writer and prophet like Russell, Rutherford was an organization man and built Gods Org. -

Lil story for you.
I was walking down a street one day and in the distance I saw this 14 year old witness comin the other way ( this is after I was "DF") she was a bit simple, not too much in terms of IQ and I see her skippin down the street lahdeedah, wavin her arms around and basking in the sunshine and pretty flowers of Jehovahs creatin, singing away she was...
Then she saw me.
Instant change!
The shoulders dropped, a look of rank fear came over her face and her feet dragged along the ground. AS I passed her she was SHAKING.
I was so irritated by this that , as I passed her I thought "Im already labelled might as well live up to her expectation" so I went
"Grrrrr".
She screamed and ran off wailing.
Iknow, I know< I shouldnt of done it, but really.... -

dont know whether you know this or not kiddo, but I'll say it anyway..
done a lot of research over the past X years into churches that hold to a "truth" and shunning is a format in many of them. Adventists, sci fi cults, all the same. Its ties to the control of information, the channel of truth not wanting any access into the members minds by any other info source, especially dangerous ones that know too much.
THe extreme of information flow control is putting your people in a compound with no external access. Course when you have a church with 5 million members across the planet thats a little hard unless you got a BIG compound.
There are tens of millions other people, some witnesses, some in Larouche,Mormonism and the Elonias foundation all goin thru what your expoeriencing, or a slight variation of same. Its THEM that have to be stopped, not YOU.

blood
by edward gentry inmy mother died from refusing a blood transfussion, it took her 3 weeks to die and her body fought hard to live.
by the end she had gangrene in both feet and hands, the doctors said, if she survived they would have to be amputated.
im there thinking, "okay, shes footless, handless, but still mummy dearest".kidney failure, heart failure followed, with the doctors fighting like all hell trying to keep her alive.

not that Im blubbing teary eyed about it, it was just like a final revelation, as though God put her through that to prove the erroneousness of the Witness position to me. Or somethin.delusions that God is sendin me signals

Preparing for Armageddon!
by Mindchild inwhat was the silliest thing you ever did to prepare for armageddon?.
way back when in my pioneering days, when we were out in service we would often talk about what to do when the great tribulation came along.
one of my pioneering buddies told me that he was so sure the gt was around the corner that he went and buried some food for the bros and sis to eat when we fled to the hills.

had 4 other young bros all armed to the teeth and training down at the local oval everynight. we used to prepare for and practise the violence needed to survive the big A by going around torching schools and blowing up cars....happy days
